Auf den Tag genau vor 15 Jahren hat Astronomy Picture of the Day das Licht der Welt erblickt. Robert Nemiroff und Jerry Bonnell stellen seitdem täglich ein Astronomie-Bild samt Beschreibung vor und nehmen damit meist auf ein aktuelles Ereignis in der Astronomie und Weltraumforschung Bezug.
